Ciara Finnegan aus Cavan verstärkt ab sofort als Fremdsprachenassistentin (FSA) den Englischunterricht als Native Speaker. Durch die Einbindung der FSA ist es möglich, authentische Sprechsituationen und interkulturelle Perspektiven effektiv im Unterricht einzubringen. Da auch im vergangenen Jahr eine irische Assistentin am Anno tätig war und dazu Auslandspraktika in Dublin durchgeführt wurden, wird Ciara zur Begeisterung der Schulgemeinschaft eine kleine irische Tradition an der Europaschule fortführen. “Hi everyone!
My name is Ciara and I am the new English Language Assistant in Anno-Gymnasium. I am from Ireland. I come from a small region called Cavan, which is located beside the border with Northern Ireland. It is a very rural area with lots of lakes, green fields and farms.
I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Languages from the University of Limerick, where I studied German and Spanish. I am really passionate about languages and travelling. I have lived in Tokyo, Cologne and Granada in the south of Spain.
I am very excited to get to know all the students and staff in Anno-Gymnasium and I’m sure we will have a great time this year!”
