To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Ms Finnegan, the English Language Assistant gave a presentation to class 6e about the Irish holiday. She told them about how St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated in Ireland but also in other cities and countries all around the world. The students then learned about who St. Patrick was and why he is still celebrated. The lesson ended with a fun activity about leprechauns. The students came up with ideas for what they would do if they found a leprechaun and his pot of gold. The class was a lot of fun and the students had some very creative ideas on how they would use their pot of gold!
